Sampler Box Program

The U.S. Trade Commissioner Services is  developing programs that allow them to connect with buyers more regularly as well as develop new contacts with more ease. One of these programs is to deliver Sampler Boxes consisting of curated shelf-stable products and marketing material to buyers. This is a way to reach buyers who might be a significant distance from their home office or even just easily get new products in front of buyers they work with locally.
The provinces of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador have partnered with the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA) to provide discounted shipping for companies within their province to participate in this program.

Ship Directly to Buyer

The way we do business is changing with global barriers to navigate to other markets. To overcome these obstacles, Atlantic Canadian companies must find ways to do business remotely or virtually. To support companies in this challenging quest, the Sample Program offers a reimbursement of 50% of the cost of shipping samples to interested and qualified Buyers (up to $1000 per company per year).

Program and process: Company must demonstrate that a Buyer is seriously interested in receiving a product sample for the purpose of making a purchase. Company will be asked to complete the intake form (same form as the TC program above - if you have already completed it, you do not have to do it again). To request assistance on shipping directly to a Buyer, simply complet the application found here.  Note there are no restrictions on locations – samples may be shipped to Buyers from any country.
