Benefits of Membership

The AFBPA mission is to support the food processors in the region in their efforts to operate efficiently and profitably. With a focus to expand services and support for Association

Members, is it our commitment to continue to find new opportunities, offer various training sessions, provide networking opportunities, and seek ways to market and promote our industry. It is our 2017 goal to deliver improved membership benefits, such as:

New Membership Database—an efficient and effective way of tracking our members and their preferences. This will improve the communication process and provide all members with access to their own profile and the ability to network with other members.

New Website—a new platform with member-only access as well as public pages providing visibility for the Association as well as all Member organizations. This portal will be the hub for all ABFPA related news, information, training sessions, and links.

Member rates with various industry suppliers—we will use our collective buying power to build a database of service suppliers who will extend a preferred rate to our members, resulting in substantial savings.

Tailored training workshops—with a survey tool, we will identify what training and education our members need. Based on these results we will secure qualified facilitators and activate the right training sessions for the membership.

Food Safety Meetings—annual Food Safety Meeting will be offered as part of our industry mandate.

Ongoing efforts—we are committed to growing the membership, developing new partnerships,, expanding marketing opportunities, and representing the membership in all markets around the world.
